The Jeff Wall Band
A collaboration with some talented friends exploring the evolution of Jeff Wall's music.
This album was born out of a chance encounter that finally brought the three of us together, after years and years...It was recorded in a small shop in Sidney, BC with one microphone over 3 nights. It began as an idea to start a band and then developed into a small project showcasing what three musicians can do when music begins to inspire. We were working on our own projects and decided to collaborate and experiment with a 'live' and very raw sound. The tracks are essentially 'one takes' trying to capture that relationship between the instruments and the musicians and the inspiration of the west coast.
A collection of original songs celebrating the rhythm of the world
'The Blue Guitar' is a collection of original songs inspired by world travel and the many people Jeff has met on his adventures. 'The Blue Guitar' has a sound and feel that reflects Jeff's first album , 'Slipping Through the Tide'. It captures his unique acoustic style where colorful, interpretive lyrics mingle with gentle guitar melodies and upbeat rhythms. Recorded in his home studio on Vancouver Island,'The Blue Guitar' celebrates good times, nature’s beauty and love’s muse.
Slipping Through the Tide
A compilation of original songs influenced by the beauty of the West Coast and filled with the dynamics of an acoustic performance.
'Slipping Through the Tide' is Jeff Wall's first solo album of original songs he wrote and performed over a period of several years. Born from a collaboration with a recording engineer student , 'Slipping through the Tide' successfully captures the mellow acoustic performances that defined Jeff in live shows. The album is a narrative of traveling and the inspiration of Nature expressed through image filled lyrics and the rhythm of his guitars.
